school shootings

so its now been three days since the shooting in CT. My son went to school today where they did a code blue drill. they didnt really say why they are now working on these drills. he is 5 and when i asked him why they where doing it he just said because if a bad person comes in the school we have to hide. then of course i had to explain to my 5 yr old and his 4 yr old sister why it was important to listen to the teacher and follow what she says. when i told him that a bad man shot 20 kids his age and they were in heaven he at first told me mommy are they with their parents. which of course made me cry. i told him no buddy they are with GOD waiting for their parents but they are safe and in no pain. poor kid said mommy thats sad wont their mommys and daddys be upset? i said yes baby their parents and families are upset.

anyways kids are getting big and keith is in school. arianna is staying home with me which is nice for her and i. also im a influenster.com member and its awesome you should really check it out. you can get lots of products to test and blog about. i did one with dish soap that made it so you sponge wasn't smelly anymore.influenster.com

so its july 21 2011 already. crazy right. well this have been ok. kids have been sick since the 24th of june which is in a way bad but also is the normal thing. arianna had it first and gave it to keith. then she gave it to me. and of course in the last 2 weeks mannie got sick. other then that the kids are doing well. keith is on a list to get into preschool. hopefully it goes well. arianna has decided potty training is hard. lol
 

just a check up

so things are doing great right now. kids are enjoying the beginning of summer. both kids are growing big and getting into everything. keith has been talking in wonderfully long sentences and phrases. arianna has been talking alot more and we are able to understand it alot more. mannie is doing great and so am i

1st long family walk of the spring/summer 2011

we took a walk as a family yesterday and it was a long walk. it was nice to be out the 4 of us but it was also pretty hot. i asked the kids please hold each others hand. and this was the cute pic i got. lol other then that we are doing well

RIP my dear aunt

so at 315 am my cousin emailed my phone(i didnt get it tell 8am) my aunt passed away last nite. she hasnt been feeling ok for the last month. so i knew it was coming. i just wanted to say RIP aunt i love u

may is here in just days

wow i cant believe how fast it has come to may already. dang.

things have been doing ok lately. keith is doing so well as far as not having any accidents in his pants. he has also been sleeping through the night most nights. which makes me happy. being that he is 4 and just now doing it, means alot because he is very comfortable living in our new place. Arianna is doing so good too. she has been going on the potty alot more lately im kinda just letting her tell me when she is ready. she has been talking alot. its so awesome to see how much she is growing. 2 1/2 yrs old already. it is also great that she is this big because when she was first born she was diagnoised with sleep apena and that had to be the scarist time for our family. for the first 3 months we(mannie and i) slept in shifts. because we could never knew if she was going to wake up. then at 5 months her alarm started going nuts at all hours. and one nite i had to call 911 to come get her and i because our car wasnt starting and she needed a doctor asap.. they gave her an rsv test and she had it. so she was admitted. then a few hrs later a neighbor and her 6 week old was admitted to. so im very thankful that she is 2 1/2 and making me crazy.

toddlers given alcohol drinks

so within the last month or so there has been 3 incidents of restaurants giving children alcohol drinks. Now as a mother of 2 young kids ages 4 and 2 1/2 when i get them a drink at a restaurant i will test it before them. i do it to make sure its what we asked for and to make sure it doesn't test funny.
so I'm really trying to understand how one the restaurant wasn't paying attention to what they were serving these kids and two how can you as a parent don't test your kids drink or look to see if its what u asked for. do u watch ur kids faces when they test that first test of the drink? you can tell if they aren't drinking something that they know. both my kids are at the age that they tell me if something isn't right.
parents please be aware of what is going on around you at the restaurant, or where ever esle you are at.

living in our blue house

well we moved into our new house a week before april 1st we have lived here a few weeks now. the kids love the new place. we have a trampoline in the front yard so they have been bouncing. we are slowly almost unpacked thank goodness. other then that we have been doing well. keith had to get a tooth pulled right after turning 4 because it was a dead tooth. which happens when they hit their head too much. or just their mouths. he was such a good boy when we had it done i was so proud of him. arianna has taken to potty training once we moved in. she is doing so well

WE ARE MOVING......

we r moving in the next week. which is making me stress out so bad. blah i know that its going to be a better place for us but it makes me crazy that i have to pack and get this stuff ready to move while mannie is working. which i know is what he needs to do. wish us luck

My son is growing

omg my son is growing up. today we took his bike out and checked to make sure it was in working order. we had to take it to get the tires pumped. he and his daddy got it done while arianna and i went and got some treats. i cant believe that its almost keiths 4th bday. wow. so amazing.

the blizzard and more snow

so everyone in the world knows about the blizzard chicago was hit with. well it was so not fun for anyone. please we lost power so of course we were pretty cold for 12 hrs in our house. then we had to go to the inlaws. man im so tried of winter and all the stuff that is still coming down.

update on life.

life has been ok. my bday came and now im 28 wahoo. not. kids loved all the cake that we' ve had. we celebrated all together with their wita(her bday is today), and wito. plus my brother in law and sister in law and ms connie. it was so nice. im really proud of the kids for behaving in the restaurant

happy new year. 2011

Holy moly its already 2011. dang thats crazy. but it was a nice time. i managed to be awake at 12 so that was a plus. the kids got woken up for about 20 mins by the dang fireworks.

wow already its going to be the new year.

dang im so not ready for this new year. im in so much pain from the

Fibromyalgia

and it sucks so much. i wouldn't risk this on my worst enemy and she tired to kill me. its taken 4 + years for me to get diagnoised with this. and im glad for it to be over. now its time to figure out what meds work to handle my pain. now having two kids one who is 3 and one who is 2 while dealing with the pain is alittle hard but ive been doing it. keith thinks its a game when he comes to our room in the morning and has to see if mommys in the bed or on the toddlar matteress on the floor. other then that we had a wonder xmas spent with our family.

being asthmatic and being sick.

so when i was 13 i was diagnosed with asthma. needless to say because i was diagonois so late in my life ill have it forever. sucks. well when i become pregnant the first time i was told ur child has a 50 percent chance of having asthma. so no big deal right. hahahaha ya right. guess what keith has it. aggggggggggggg pissed me off. keith refused to drink the singular stuff so it was a horrible time. then when i became pregnant with arianna i just thought i bet she gets it too. and of course she got not only the asthma from me but aniema to. man i suck. also she was born with sleep apnea. so back to now. of course its winter time, and right after thanksgiving arianna got sick she was put on meds and breathing treatments. she got better then now 2 weeks before xmas she is getting worest again. and because she is asthmatic its a terrible thing that i hate that she chokes when she coughs. it not only scares mannie and i but her too. keith has a cough but because we caught it now i think that he will get better sooner

today is dec. 9th and in a month and 3 days ill be........ 28

omg im so sitting here thinking dang im gonna be 28. four yrs ago i was pregnant with my first child and thinking wow im nervous. and now i have 2 kids and been married for 4 yrs. things are so silly now a days. keith is in this really horrible stage were all he does is wine and then he starts chocking and coughing. arianna is in the terrible twos and man is it horrible. i cant even imagine having twins at this stage. i can only think that life is going to be alittle easier soon.
